About Moi

Me?! ok ok ok I’ll tell you some details.

I’m a rock awesome photographer and web designer….. totally love my job { I mean come on…. I get to go to parties, meet really cool people and design rock awesome websites that make people love their job.. }

I’ve tried every diet under the sun… Weight Watchers, Slim fast, not eating, over eating {yeah there was some diet like that forever ago}, high protein, Diet Pills, the “soup” diet, Spicy food diet, Green Tea Diet, and this list could go on.

What I’ve discovered. You can’t DIET, {and yes it started that way}. That is the worlds worst four letter word. You need to change your lifestyle, you need to change you… food wise that is. Being Paleo isn’t scary, it isn’t hard. I normally bail on everything, and I mean everything, I’m going six months strong and will never turn back {yeah I’ve had a few cheats, who hasn’t!}

I do yoga at home. I’ve tried other work out methods. I know crossfit is amazing. It just might not be the thing for me right now. I love using the Sara Ivanhoe Yoga DVD’s

More random facts about me? Why of course!
- Hoodies are the worlds best invention
- I have a puggle who I completely adore
- I am determined to wear a bikini this summer!
- I love music, really bad tv shows, and the movie “How to Train your Dragon”

Just Remember.. I’m really really lazy naturally, so If I can do paleo, you bet your bottom dollar you can too {Did I really say that…ugg}!

    Sounds EXACTLY like me! I have been romantically involved with laziness of all kinds for some time now. Now that I realize it’s truly the natural human condition (sprint, hunt, eat, procreate, conserve energy for the next go-round) I feel less guilty about it :) In fact, the only thing I’ve EVER committed to willingly, happily and permanently is my awesome Cave Husband (technically a person, not a “thing,” but YKWIM) And, as it appears, I’ve committed to this “Paleo” way of living too. Thanks for the love!

      I love being lazy. It’s a serious love affair. But being Paleo is stinking easy it’s amazing more people don’t do it! Your blog freaking rocks by the way :D I love the two egg yolk post!

    Hi Liz!
    I’m another Paleo-livin’-lovin’ Liz. This is SUCH a great find for me, as my paleo boyfriend and I just blew $200 at Whole Foods last weekend (our most expensive grocery bill in the 4 months we’ve been Paleo). I’m curious as to whether you’re splurging for organic produce, just the “dirty dozen”, or opting for all conventional? And same for conventional vs. grass fed beef – your weekly grocery totals make me totally envious! Thanks, and rock on :)

      Heyy!
      Oh I know what that’s like, it’s so easy just to spend half your paycheck {or all of it} buying yummy stuff. I don’t splurge on organic, I buy what ever is as close as I can get to really good quality. As for beef I do conventional for the most part, I can’t afford grass fed beef 24/7, way to expensive around here. However when I have a bit of extra money, I’ll head to the meathouse and get some grass fed beef from them for like one or two meals.

      For me it’s I’d rather eat conventional beef and pay my bills then the other way around haha!

      You can so get those weekly grocery totals! Look for the pre-frozen meats, meats that are super on sale that you can freeze. I also really really stock up on frozen veggies when they’re beyond cheap so I don’t have to worry about paying full price for them later!

    My husband and I have been on Paleo for the last 4 weeks and it has been good for us.
    The Paleo recipes from various sites are great, and I know that learning to think differently about food is the trick. But sometimes I get stuck on what to put on the table at a budget that suits us.
    I find your site exciting because of the way you write, and that encourage me to try new dishes, so a big “ THANK YOU” .

    Thank you so much for your work on this site. I love that you have added your menu and costs at the grocery store. I love to save money, and we are going back on our Primal diet in Januaryp–after being off for over a year.
    We are feeding 4 so the grocery bill can be pretty steep, but very worth it!
    Thanks again
