As promised, here’s another sneak peek recipe from Paleo On A Budget: Saving Money, Eating Healthy. Why did I pick this one? Because A.) Brussel Sprouts are AMAZING! and B.) I feel like most people on a budget have a really, really hard time with side dishes. It’s one of those important parts of meal but you also don’t want to spend a fortune on it. So this B-Sprouts Recipe really fits the bill for everything. And you can serve this with whatever you like! I think it rocks with pork, chicken, beef, etc. I’d even suggest making extra and using it to top salads or something throughout the week!
Did I also mention that this is easy? Like so easy it’s almost scary easy!
Now go enjoy these with dinner tonight and come back and check out the blog after when I’ll have some awesome information about the Week-Long Book Based Meal Plan I’ve been working on for you crazy kids!
P.S. — Book Comes out a WEEK from tomorrow!! Don’t forget to Pre-Order and email me for your Bonus Recipes!!!!
- coconut oil, ghee, or butter
- 1 {6-oz.} bag frozen brussels sprouts
- 2–3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes salt and pepper
- Before cooking,I like to leave the brussels sprouts on the counter for about 15 minutes so they start to thaw a little.
- Heat a skillet on the stove on medium-high with coconut oil, ghee, or butter. Then cut your brussels sprouts in half and add them to the pan to let them start to cook.
- Once these start to get a little bit of color on them, add in the apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper.
- Taste test the brussels sprouts for seasoning and adjust if needed. When they’re fully cooked and have some nice color on them, they’re done.
- Enjoy!
Happy Monday!!!!
