Serves: 2-3
  • Fat of choice
  • ½ a large onion, thinly sliced
  • Salt + pepper
  • 1.25 lb of steak, cut into pieces
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, washed and chopped {or your favorite lettuce}
  • ½ {6oz} package of raspberries, washed + cut in half
  • ¼ {8oz} package of goat cheese
  • Handful of walnuts
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  1. Get a large skillet heating on medium-high heat with your favorite fat {around a tablespoon or so}.
  2. Add your onions in and give them a small sprinkling of salt.
  3. Chop up your steak - once it's ready add it into your pan and add in a little more salt + pepper as well as a wee bit extra fat! Let it cook to your favorite level of done!
  4. While the steak is cooking just wash and chop your lettuce and layer it on your plate{s} Then wash and chop your raspberries. You can either set them aside and wait for the steak to be done or you can start to layer it on your plate {I've done it both ways and it makes no difference on flavor!}
  5. When your steak is all done add it on top of your lettuce. Then layer on if you need to your raspberries.
  6. Sprinkle on your goat cheese and walnuts and then simply dress with a drizzle of both olive oil and balsamic vinegar to taste!
  7. Enjoy!
