Serves: 2-4
  • 1.25 lbs {ish} of ground pork
  • 1 small { a larger small} Onion diced finely
  • ½ a medium carrot diced finely
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • ½ tsp each Garlic Powder & Dried Oregano
  • Salt + Pepper
  • 1 egg
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees {F}
  2. If you want to pre-cook your onions and carrots do that first { I don't pre-cook mine because I like my carrots to have a bit of a bite to them} and let them cool down before adding it in!
  3. Toss everything into a bowl and mix it really well {I use my hands}
  4. Grab some sort of pan that you can form a loaf with.. If you have an actual loaf pan then use that if you want.. I use my pyrex big baking dish and just form my loaf in it..
  5. When making your loaf.. try to make it as even as possible and make sure you're ends aren't too thin. You want your loaf to cook evenly.. I get pretty freaking OCD about making sure it's even I can't lie.
  6. Toss it in the oven for 30 minutes*
  7. When it comes out let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing in to it {I cover it with aluminum foil so it stays warm}
  8. Slice it up and enjoy!
