Notes: Short trip this week had a lot stocked up and making easy meals this week!
Great blog… I’m a sucker for a good deal!! 🙂 Where do you usually do your grocery shopping? I don’t live near a Trader Joes, but we do have a Whole foods here.
Wow, do you ever wonder how much different grocery prices are from region to region, or country to country? 4 lbs of meat. How many people are you feeding (and am I eating way too much protein….?) We’re lucky here to get any meat for less that $2.99/lb; most meat is $5.99/lb on average, and I’m cooking meals for 6 (4 of us at the table, and two of us having it for lunch next day). nd the price of toilet paper here is ridiculous–usually the cheapest stuff is $5.99 for 8 rolls. We also pay a lot more for olive oil (I just picked one up on sale for $3, but it was the small bottle and I thought it was a steal….) Interesting….
Been spending 110-130 a week on groceries eating paleo, came here hoping for solutions
Unfortunately, this would feed me for exactly two days…
I could eat a week on it, if I added veggies and fruit, but it would cost me same as you. That’s because I’m buying organic everything, grass-fed beef, free-roaming chicken and their eggs… because once you realize how bad the other stuff is for you, how do you go back to eating polluted food? I guess I’ll have to get a second job…
