You guys! Didn’t I just write the Best of 2013? But apparently it’s been a year? Seriously, where did 2014 go? And it wasn’t one of those ehhh years, I mean it was a BIG + wicked fun year!!!
To recap in bullet points:
• Book #2 – Paleo Meal Planning on a Budget was released
• Toriee joined the team
• POAB only got sexier
• Maple Bacon Cookies
• YouTube
I’d say that’s all some pretty interesting, big things – but wait until 2015 hits in a few hours THEN we’ll really be cooking with bacon fat – cause isn’t every year better than the last? exactly! So let’s get on to the Best parts of 2014!
The Book!!!!
That’s right – I wrote another! Paleo Meal Planning on a Budget is just the cutest little meal planning book you ever did see! What’s more is that she has meal plans, recipes and is oh-so hilarious 🙂
Read More about the book here!
Listen Up Paleo!
That’s right, my friend Kelly, from A Girl Worth Saving, and I decided to start a pretty awesome podcast! We talk about all things real life paleo related and you know, we mention shoes, bacon, chocolate and coffee on a fairly regular basis! You should make it your goal in 2015 to listen in ALL the time! You’ll be so happy you did 😉
Recipe time! Here are my favorite recipes from 2014!
Primal Raspberry Cupcakes
It’s a cupcake, with raspberry and chocolate – I mean need I say more?

Mango Lime Chicken
Every time I see this recipe title I start singing “you put the lime in the coconut …” and flash back to the movie Practical Magic, but I digress – this is pretty much the best recipe to make you feel like it’s Summer 24/7!

Steak, Raspberry, Goat Cheese Salad
Because any day I can put steak, raspberry and goat cheese together in a salad is a good day! But seriously, try this salad. And if you like this combination make sure you also try out my Steak + Watermelon Wraps!

Fried Egg + Baby Kale Salad
Why did this one make the list? Because breakfast should happen any time of day – and I think this salad works for any meal! Plus – I have a huge obsession with fried eggs on a salad!

Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies
Now don’t let it fool you that this recipe is last on the list — it’s numero last so you can make sure to bookmark it! Because bacon + cookies + chocolate. Really there’s nothing better – so you really this is probably my favorite recipe from 2014, or maybe of all time!

Liz-
I will be starting 2015 with your 4 week meal plan from “Meal Planning..”. The book is awesome, and has saved me so much time, money and hair-pulling already! I hope that 2015 is as awesome for you as 2014 has been 🙂
Awesome! I’ll get one of Paleo Meal Planning on a Budget book, I think it would be a big help for me because I have so much problem with budgeting when it comes to food. Many thanks:).
I am slowly becoming a paleo person! Bought your book Paleo on a Budget for xmas and love it. Just checked out the web site and am excited about new recipes. My favorite so far is the Sausage Kale soup and twice baked sweet potatoes! I cannot get the mayo right 🙁
